SIX MILE — A skunk found near Josh Nicole Drive and Old Keowee Church Road in Six Mile has tested positive for rabies, exposing one person and a pig.

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) said the person was referred to their physician and a veterinarian consulted for the pig. The skunk was submitted to a DHEC lab for testing on Aug. 25
