Schedule set for city amphitheater

PICKENS — The city of Pickens’ annual spring and summer concert series will kick off next weekend and run through the beginning of September.

The free events, which will be held at the amphitheater at 114 W. Main St., will run from 7-9 p.m.

Shoal Creek is the first scheduled performer, set to take the stage April 14. After the Pickens Azalea Festival takes over downtown the following weekend, Taylor McCall will close the month with a concert on April 28.

May and June will only have two concerts apiece, with the Hired Help playing May 12 and the Carolina Highway Band performing May 26,
