Sheriff’s office looking for help to ID burglars

EASLEY — Investigators are turning to the public for help in identifying two men caught on camera during a burglary at a home in Easley Sunday morning.

Images of the two men were captured on a trail camera outside the home, located at 743 Thomas Mill Road.

Officers said one of the men can be seen leaving the home with the victim’s property.

In one image, a medical boot can be seen being worn on the left foot of one of the two men.

The vehicle driven by the suspects may have also been photographed, according to Pickens County Sheriff’s Office chief deputy Creed Hashe. It is believed to be a late ‘90s or early 2000s truck, silver in color with black rims.

Hashe said an investigation revealed the men gained entry through a rear door of the home and stole a TV and tools valued at more than $500. No one was home at the time of the incident.

Detectives have also identified at least two other home burglaries in the Easley area that occurred within 24 hours of the Thomas Mill Road incident and may be connected to the men.

Anyone with information on the men’s identities is asked to call the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office at (864) 898-5500 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
