SIX MILE — At 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 14, Six Mile Baptist Church will host a free women’s personal safety class conducted by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.

The training will address “back to the basics of safety,” and the target audience is all women interested in learning more about safety-related topics.

The class is taught by PCSO Deputy Carmen Lehman, who conducts this and many other training topics aimed at personal protection and safety.

A complimentary lunch will be served after the class finishes, and everyone attending is invited to stay for a time of food and fellowship. The class will be conducted at the Roper Activities Building at 150 North Main St. in Six Mile.
