Spring Fling this Saturday

EASLEY — Downtown Easley will come alive this Saturday with the city’s ninth annual Spring Fling, sponsored by the Easley Downtown Business Association.
The festival, slated to run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., will feature live music, games, arts and crafts vendors, food and much more.
Vendors will line Main Street and Pendleton Street, while the main stage will be set up in the amphitheatre at the newly remodeled Market Square and a secondary stage will feature acoustic musicians at the gazebo park.
Kicking off the festivities on the Spring Fling’s main stage at 10 a.m. will be local country music singer Arvie Bennett. The performers will change every half hour, with acts including the Fine Arts Center of Easley’s Show Choir, Mathew, a Zumba demonstration, a fencing demonstration, Spotlight Dance Studio, musician Shain Stewart, gospel duo Stand Strong and the Easley Dance Conservatory. Closing out the show with a bang will be the rock and roll stylings of Fat Cat Daddy at 3:30 p.m.
The gazebo area stage will feature performances every hour starting at 10 a.m. with Stewart, followed by Greyson Heikle, an acoustic guitarist from the Fine Arts Center of Easley, Bennett, Mathew and Erin Schultz, a pianist from the Fine Arts Center of Easley.
Interactive activities will include painting with Easley artist Dale Stone and dance lessons beginning at 10 a.m.
