Merck: Community help key to keep kids in class

PICKENS — School District of Pickens County officials are asking for the public’s helping making sure students can stay in the classroom to complete the school year as COVID-19 cases continue to spike across the county.

School board approves bonus for employees

EASLEY — Although unable to give salary increases in its fiscal 2020-21 budget due to the impact of COVID-19, the Pickens County School Board on Friday morning unanimously approved a one-time bonus to all of the district’s nearly 2,600 employees.
