Who wants a lifestyle of spiritual awareness?
Have you noticed that when we are bombarded with negativity and told that the world is falling apart at the seams, it drains our joy and hope?
Of course, we are concerned about our nation, the world, and the future of our family, but may we look beyond the veil of doom and gloom and realize the world is also filled with good news, whether we want to accept it or not.

A house divided
In Matthew 12:25, Jesus tells us that, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and
every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”
This is both a fact and a stern warning; that is, a fact of spiritual reality, and a stark warning of the terrible consequences of violation and transgression. If we think about the law of reaping and sowing, as in Galatians 6:7: “whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap,” we understand the cause and effect of conflict and destruction.
We live in a time of deepening conflict, a time of political polarization, which, we are warned, very clearly, is sowing the seeds of ruin and destruction. Look at our national politics; it’s a

Keep an eye on grocery prices
If you’ve done your grocery shopping at the same store for a long time, believing that they have
the best prices in town, it might be time to revisit that thought. I just discovered that the big box store where I’ve shopped isn’t the lower cost choice I thought it was.

Insurance premium holiday
Here’s an early holiday gift for 457,000 veterans — three months of no payments due on their life insurance policies.
Those veterans who have policies under the Veterans’ Group Life Insurance program (VGLI) will not have to make their payments in November, December and January, freeing up that cash over the holidays.
The policies under the VGLI program can be a good deal and carry over after a veteran leaves the service, as long as

UN delegates fulfill prophesy
Zechariah 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”
On Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, estimates of 73 U.N. delegates were not present or walked out as Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, explained Israel’s position in their retaliation for the murderous acts of Oct. 7, 2023, and Israel’s right to defend itself.
It would be interesting to note, representatives from more than 120 countries did not walk out. Of the 193 member nations 73 either walked out or were not present. Numbers vary by sources of information.
Jesus stated in Matthew 24:9 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” Would “all nations” in the first century have had a different meaning than today?
