EASLEY — Rep. Neal Collins recently announced plans to seek reelection to the State House of Representatives.

Collins’ District 5 seat is up for election on Nov. 9, 2026. He was first elected to the seat in 2014 and ran unopposed in the November 2024 general election after defeating challenger Brandy Tarleton in the 2024 Republican primary.

In a Dec. 15 post on his “Rep. Neal Collins” Facebook page, Collins wrote that
