The Pickens Garden Club is celebrating its Centennial this year, marking 100 years from 1926 to 2026. The club has several events planned to honor the milestone, including a recent luncheon at The Lighthouse Restaurant. During the gathering, the group presented gifts to three long‑term members — two with more than 25 years of service and one with 35 years. Although not all members were able to attend, the club enjoyed lunch and cake, sang their birthday‑bash song, and shared stories and fond memories from years of fellowship.
