County votes down Central TIF

Dear Editor,

GREENVILLE — Behind 2-0 and down one player due to a first half red card, the Daniel High School boys soccer team look like its hopes were fading in the final minutes of its third round battle with Southside on Wednesday night.

The Lions were able to find some heart with a sensational goal from freshman Marcos Moore in the 70th minute, but were still overmanned and forced to press the Tigers. Ultimately it proved to be too much to overcome as Southside netted two more goals in the final minute to keep Daniel from the state championship for the first time since

The Lions struggled at times with bigger,
